Question: When is my bill due?

Answer: Bills are due the 15th of the month. Penalties are posted the next day, and late notices are sent out about the 20th.

Question: What do I have to do to have water put in my name?

Answer: You must pay the appropriate deposit and complete an Application for Service form. The deposit must be paid first before a bill is put into your name.

Question: How do I transfer or disconnect my service?

Answer: You must complete the bottom section of the Application for Service form entitled "Disconnection Request" and include a forwarding address. For transferring to a new residence, a new Application for Service form must be completed for that address but existing deposits will be transferred.

Question: What payment plan options do you currently offer?

Answer: We accept debit and credit cards. We also have an Automatic Bank Draft Payment Plan in which the customer fills out a form, and the bill will be automatically deducted from their checking accounts on the 10th of the month.

Question: What are your office hours?

Answer: We are open Monday - Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm. We have a night deposit box located in the drive through window and a drop box at City Hall (127 West Main Street) for after hours payments.

Question: My last water bill was high and I donŐt know why.

Answer: We suggest all customers periodically check all toilets for leaks as this is the number one cause of higher bills. We have leak detection tablets available in the office to help customers detect leaks.
