The water meters are read around the middle of the month (from the 15th to the 20th), and all accounts are now radio read. The bills are mailed on the last day of the month and are due by the 15th of each month. Bills paid after the 15th are subject to a 10% penalty.
Payments may also be made at our drop box, which is located by the Police Department at 127 West Main Street. The box is marked "Pay Water Bills Here".
We also offer a bank draft plan if you are interested in having your bill deducted directly from your checking account. Contact the office for more information.
If your account is disconnected for non payment, you must pay the current bill due in full and the reconnect fee to have service restored. Services may not be reconnected after 5:00 pm.
New services begin receiving a minimum monthly bill 30 days after the meter service has been installed, whether or not customer is tied in and using water.
